Moore said writing about her life was a 'totally new experience' and that it was 'a very intimate, challenging project.
She added, 'The most important part was when I had to go back through all my things, and I started to gain an incredible depth of appreciation. Everything I had perceived as negative or bad, I now appreciate. The pictures are so cute of just how excited they were. Which entails actually leaving the house. Today — Quirky, Eccentric, Happy.

It is cheaper, cleaner, and safer than most in town. But it is also within walking distance to her job making ideal for her. One night when it is extremely slow a guy comes in who is beyond gorgeous.
Tall, thin, lean muscles, dark hair, tanned face, and the bluest eyes ever. After asking for her food recommendation and he had eaten, he asked her to sit and talk. When she realized hours had gone by and the morning shift was on their way in, she was disappointed when he left quickly. But when she was leaving work, she found him holding up the wall outside, with a pair of sunglasses on. He asked to walk her home. Liss is used to being the friend on the sideline. You know the plus-size friend it never happens for her. Never with a guy like Joe. When things start to get hot and heavy, he gets a phone call and has to leave but he is not happy about it at all.
By accident, they meet up at a club and she thinks he is snubbing her because he is with his group of friends and he thinks she is avoiding him because it is too much for her. She feels so relevant when she is around Joe. He makes her feel beautiful and empowered. But she is not sure if that is real. I enjoyed the book although this is an ongoing story of three parts the author leaves you off in a good place.
Gives you just enough to be intrigued about your couple and interest enough to feel like you know or want to know them more. At the same time worrying she may have bitten off more than she can chew so early into a relationship. I give this: 4 stars. Free on Amazon. Dec 09, Mary Winstead rated it really liked it. Liz is a waitress working midnight shifts when some lonely guy walks in. He's the only customer but when they touch they can feel the electricity between them. Joe is a rock star whom after a show needed to calm down when he meets Liz the electricity zooms.
Great story line. But very short book. May 22, Terri Nguyen rated it it was amazing Shelves: on-my-kindle. Short story. Meet, get naked, fall in love. Mar 03, Kristina Curtis rated it liked it. This was a good short read. I was not crazy about this story. It was a good start to a series that I will continue to see if the books get better. I love the lead male rock star character. He sounds really dreamy. I do not like how the lead female character is always so down on herself. Jan 29, LaDonna rated it really liked it Shelves: owned-ebook , backstage-books , rockstar-romance. A very quick read, which I don't mind especially since his one is a freebie.
However, when I realized the next part of the series, one of about 10 or so more "books" in the series, is three dollars for 73 pages, my interest definitely dropped off with a quickness. The other issue I had with this story was the repeated emphasis on the heroine's weight. No, personal 3. No, personally, I am not model thin and don't think I will ever be close to it again. I am okay with that. I guess I understand the desire of full figured women to have romances that feature women they can relate to, but I have to say it got a bit annoying pretty quickly to have such a repetitive theme of her insecurities over her size in such a short number of pages.
Another rockstar romance I recently read, and I honestly don't remember which one it was, had the heroine compare herself once or twice to the smaller women around her I do understand the insecurity, but the over-attention to the matter made it seem more shaming, even though the hero was nothing but supportive. For mature audiences only for somewhat explicit sexual scenes. I don't know how to feel about recommending the book - I did basically enjoy it, but between the high cost of the rest of the books and the BBW issues mentioned above, I don't know how comfortable I am with suggesting it to friends and other readers.

It does basically leave on a cliffhanger And I truly do appreciate how little indie author's make and certainly appreciate the time and talent it takes to write a book, but I still have a hard time committing six more dollars for another pages. At that pricing I'm sure I would be less reluctant to give this series more of a chance.
I would really like to see Liss' self esteem improve, and Joe was very likeable in the glimpses we got of him. I will follow the author - perhaps she will bundle the books at some point as many other authors do. I am not completely writing off this series, but I am not really invested in it at this point. I didn't mean to turn this into a pricing rant - and I do apologize for that and that did not play into my rating, but I do feel like it is only fair that readers are aware of what they are getting into.

The Good You guys know I love rock star romances. So I wasn't going to pass up a free one. Rocked was pretty good. The couple was cute together and I can see them having a future. Though more could have happened in this book, I am actually interested to see what happens in book 2 with how this one ended.
Right when things were getting interesting! It needed something more. The Snuggly There is some sex and it was good but not outstanding. I like how Liss wasn't afraid to have a fling, never knowing if she was going to see Joe again. My kind of woman. Final Thoughts If the second book was free, I would grab it. I am interested to see what happens next. But no, it's not that great of a book. But I couldn't give it 2. Kind of recommended.

Rocked has a very saucy cover that will have you hooked from the first glance. The book description that followed promised of a hot and steamy romance. While I found Rocked to be a very good story; I don't know that it was everything it had promised me.
All the while, I really did like Liss and Joe's characters, but felt that they could have been further developed. They are real and intriguing and the romance is entertaining to say the least, but I felt that this story was packed full of raw pot Rocked has a very saucy cover that will have you hooked from the first glance. They are real and intriguing and the romance is entertaining to say the least, but I felt that this story was packed full of raw potential and just missed it a bit here and there. I understand this being the first book in the series that this can change in the blink of an eye.
I highly anticipate the continuation of this series to skyrocket. I hope that this author will continue growing confidence and strength. I want to see The Rocked series blow me away, and I hope that this was a slow starter that leaves readers demanding more. Being a very short story authors have a difficult task in starting a strong story without rushing, and that is exactly the predicament that I find myself in with this story.
I believe that in efforts to tell the story the corners that may have been cut cost some very important detail of the story line. Feb 22, Ashley rated it really liked it.
Liss is a waitress at an all night diner who is looking for something more. Joe is the key to that something more but she doesn't know it yet. When Joe enters the dinner after one of his concerts they form a bond. Neither of them was looking for a relationship but one falls into their laps anyways. Can the waitress and the rock star make things work long distance or are they just friends? Can Joe help Liss realize that she is beautiful instead of how she views herself?
To read a book lik Liss is a waitress at an all night diner who is looking for something more. To read a book like this is great. I have moments or days where I feel a lot like Liss feels about herself. I enjoyed the story.

I adored the characters. The authors writing style was enjoyable. The flow and pace were spot on as well. All in all it was a good book. I will definitely be looking for the rest of the series and more books by this amazing author.
I have got to know what happens with these characters next. I felt like I was a part of the book. Great author and great book. Can't wait for more! Jan 14, Bookish rated it liked it Shelves: romance , rock-stars. It was okay. A little contrived, no real character development or back story.
On the other hand, the chubby girl wins and you gotta love that. Of course, there's never an real discussion of her weight or her body issues. Our little heroine just miraculously accepts that a hot rocker finds her fluffy body hot. Sure, it's a nice change of pace, but it's hardly realistic. The writing here is average or slightly better, it's just that there's no detail, no growth, no real story.
Rocked could have be It was okay. Rocked could have been a really fun read but it was just short, underdone, and offered no real insight or emotional investment. I will probably check out at least one more book by this author, hoping she lives up to some of the potential I thought I saw in this book. Really, I advise reading this only if you have nothing else to read. Ultimately, it's like ramen for your brain - it looks like a real book, but it's got nothing to offer and it's really unsatisfying.
Nov 27, Tara rated it liked it. This was really a good read. But a really well put together read. The characters were likable and the plot was entertaining. What we do get is a decent look into this series and there are enough bones there to make you want to continue on… BUT After doing some research and reading other reviews on the whole series — each book is more of a novella. I am This was really a good read.
With that said, I will not continue on with this series. Should pricing go down to say. Falling For Her. Four Score. Lili St. Kathryn Kelly. A Good Time. Shannyn Schroeder. Love Notes. Savannah Kade. The Trouble with Paradise. Annie Seaton. Playing to Win. Kate Perry. It Ain't Me, Babe.
